  • Can you help me decide which treatment option is right for me?

Absolutely, our dedicated team is here to guide you every step of the way. Our founder, Margie, has years of experience in healthcare and aesthetics. We begin our process by conducting an in-depth consultation to understand your personal aesthetic objectives and medical history.

By assessing these aspects, we can tailor a treatment or recommend products that match your specific skin type, health status, and beauty goals. We take pride in providing personalized advice to our clients based on sound evidence and proven efficacy.

  • What is the difference between filler and toxin injectables?

Dermal fillers and toxins are both injectables used in aesthetic treatments but they serve different purposes. Toxins such as Botox and Dysport work by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the muscles where they're injected, preventing them from contracting, thereby smoothening wrinkles and fine lines.

On the other hand, dermal fillers like hyaluronic acid-based fillers add volume to soft tissues, enhancing features, reducing wrinkles, and enhancing skin hydration. The best treatment for you depends on your specific needs and desired results.

  • How is Microchanneling different from Microneedling?

While microchanneling and microneedling both stimulate collagen production for a healthier complexion, their methods vary slightly. Microchanneling uses a ProCell device with microscopic needles that create small channels in the skin which triggers a healing response inducing new collagen formation. Microneedling also punctures the skin but it does not create channels.

The Procell Microchanneling device used at The Narra Clinic is a popular choice due to its ability to deliver serums deep into the skin immediately after treatment - maximizing benefits.

  • What kind of results can I expect from AlumierMD Skin Care Products?

AlumierMD Skin Care Products are effective against numerous skin conditions such as acne, dryness, aging signs, and hyperpigmentation.

Consistent use of these products can yield significant improvements such as deeply moisturized skin; reduction in outbreaks; lightened age spots; and minimized aging signs like fine lines and wrinkles. The range uses sophisticated formulations that work at a cellular level to improve skin health and appearance.

  • Do your aesthetic treatments require downtime?

A benefit of our aesthetic treatments is that most of them are non-invasive or minimally invasive meaning little to no downtime is required. However, recovery periods may differ depending on the specific treatment administered and individual factors such as overall health status and lifestyle choices.

During your consultation, we provide comprehensive information regarding what to expect post-treatment and how best to care for your skin for optimal results.

  • What is a nurse practitioner?

Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are registered nurses (RNs) in the extended class (EC). This means

NPs have met additional education, experience and exam requirements set by the College. This allows NPs to diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medication and other treatments.

NPs are accountable to the College of Nurses of Ontario and must uphold strict standards of practice and guidelines.

  • Why is a consultation prior to treatment important?

A consultation is an integral part of a treatment plan. This is when your medical history and treatment goals will be discussed. It must be ensured that you are completely informed regarding all aspects of treatment and have realistic expectations regarding procedures and outcomes.

  • What is ProCell and how does it work?

Procell is a device and treatment system that is rooted in cutting-edge biotech that induces a breathtaking transformation in the skin. It combines the benefits of microchanneling with a serum made from human growth factor. This serum is derived from stem cells known to promote healing. The application of this serum immediately after microchanneling enhances delivery and collagen growth.

  • What is Sylfirm X RF Microneedling?

Sylfirm X RF Microneedling is an advanced medical aesthetic treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to rejuvenate the skin. It involves puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles while also delivering RF heat, which stimulates collagen production and healing.

This treatment is particularly effective for conditions like rosacea, melasma, hyperpigmentation, open pores, wrinkles, and overall skin aging. It offers a holistic approach to improve skin texture and complexion, providing you with a more youthful and fresh appearance.
